The Elementary Spanish Program offers children's Spanish classes in Boulder and surrounding area schools. E.S.P. is the largest local organization, independent of Boulder Valley School District, that focuses specifically on teaching Spanish to young children. For over 33 years, we have introduced thousands of children to the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.
E.S.P. is a non-profit organization, unaffiliated with the Boulder Valley School District. Class revenues are used to pay our highly qualified staff, purchase classroom materials and sponsor student scholarships.
The Elementary Spanish Program offers enrichment classes before and after school for kindergarten through 5th grade students. The E.S.P. registration period begins April 1st and ends September 18th for the 2006-07 school year. You can view class schedules and register online.
Elementary Spanish Program classes begin the last week of September and resume the last week of January, meeting twice weekly for 10 weeks each semester. In the fall, students register for the 40, 45-minute classes in the E.S.P. year.
Our fees reflect an average class size between 6 and 12 students minimum for the different levels of the program. Tuition is $395 for the Auditory Program and the Introduction to Reading and Writing Program, and $420 for the Spanish Literature Program. All of these fees are for the year-long program and are paid at the time of registration. Students must successfully complete each level in order to progress to the next.
ESP also offers a preschool Spanish program.
